1964 Plymouth Belvedere - Lithia Springs, GAStreetside ClassicsLithia Springs, GA 30122Ph: 8773671835Web: www. The fact that they're also great-looking is merely icing on the cake. V8 power, brilliant bright red paint, and a stock-style interior make this big Belvedere a car that's good at just about everything. Although it was designed to be affordable, that doesn't mean the guys at Plymouth skimped on the shiny stuff, either, giving it bright side trim, chrome bumpers, and a simple grille up front that would totally fill other cars' rear-view mirrors with Mopar. The bright red paint works well behind the shiny stuff, giving this big cruiser a high performance look that speaks to its dual nature. Fit and finish are quite good, with doors that close easily and a massive trunk lid that fits well, and believe me, getting a piece of metal that big to look good is no easy task. All the original badges and emblems were reinstalled after the paint was dry, and for the most part, this car looks like it might have in 1967 after being enjoyed for a few years. Funky red brocade cloth upholstery works well with the bright red paint job and the replacement seat covers accurately duplicate the originals. Matching door panels continue the simple-but-elegant theme and pleats everywhere are part of the 1960s vibe that defines this car. Stock instruments offer a fairly comprehensive view of the engine's condition and aftermarket A/C was added discreetly under the dash. The original AM radio is still in the dash, a nice nod to originality, and remarkably it still works! Getting all that sheetmetal moving is the job of a 318 cubic inch V8. With an intake obviously designed to make torque, a 2-barrel carburetor, and a rumbling dual exhaust, it delivers the kind of low-end grunt that makes these cars so much fun to drive. With Hemi Orange paint on the block, it looks fairly authentic, a look that's enhanced by the simple stamped valve covers and factory air cleaner assembly. Someone spent a good deal of time on the inner fenders and firewall before the paint went on, so popping the hood is a pleasure. A 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic is robust enough to handle the power, and there's an 8.75-inch rear end out back. There's a brand new dual exhaust system underneath that sounds mellow but not loud and it looks. Air Conditioning

It is a rust free original california car, original sheet metal car that looks, starts, idles, runs, drives, shifts and stops excellent! It is optioned with bucket seats, woodgrain steering wheel, am radio, v21 performance hood stripes, vinyl top and is a manual brake/manual steering car! It has it's fender tag and just a small portion of the original broadcast sheet. All numbers are matching and it still has its original carburetors, distributer, radiator, exhaust manifolds and more! This car has been my personal "keeper" car for a few years now but time to let her go. It has been shown in many shows including the invitational muscle car and corvette nationals (mcacn car show in chicago) and was invited back again this year. It's a great car with only 71k miles showing. The only non stock things on it are a deep oil pan with high volume oil pump for better protection, a super nice tti 3" dual exhaust system with polished stainless tips, a pertronix electronic ignition module inside of the original distributer for reliability and performance radial tires. There has been just one repaint of the original vitamin-c orange color on this rust free original sheet metal body several years ago and it still looks great. The front suspension and steering have been rebuilt and it goes down the road straight and tight. The undercarriage is non undercoated and all original, unrestored, rock solid, rust free and is probably just a bit dirty. The interior is in mint condition. The engine was inspected and re-gasketed about 10 years ago and is still standard bore. This car has never needed to be restored! It's a very well kept original factory hemi car that has been maintained and cared for over the last 45 years. The car needs nothing and has everything going for it. Bucket Seats

Seller's comments and description: 1965 plymouth belvedere 11: 1 of 933 4-speed cars made for the year. Originally a barn-find (7 years ago), this belvedere was "ground-up" restored (with photos). The motor, transmission, and rear end were all rebuilt and have low miles. All new front end parts, fuel and brake lines, wheel cylinders, clutch, and shifter. Newer tires, super shock spring leafs, bucket seats, radio delete. The new paint lays very straight on the body. The interior is original except for the new carpet and headliner. The blue tinted glass is from the factory and very rare. Bucket Seats

1968 plymouth roadrunner - lithia springs, gastreetside classicslithia springs, ga 30122ph: 8773671835web: www. There's something to be said for subtlety, although we're not sure if a car with a giant hood scoop on a flat black hood is exactly low-profile. On the other hand, the handsome silver paint isn't flashy, but it's kind of a stealth look that helps stay out of sight when there's this much horsepower involved. The sheetmetal underneath is in good order, with decent gaps and lots of effort spent on getting those massive quarters straight without blunting the wonderful character line that sweeps across the surface. Nice chrome bumpers, a few shiny trim bits, and no graphics or stripes all help with the upscale look that comes at a reasonable price. The all-business interior is nicely finished and uses correct materials and patterns to replicate that late-60s vibe. The gauges are probably original and show clear lenses and bright markings, and they're joined by a big tach strapped to the steering column. There is a pistol-grip shifter, which is always cool, but this car is strictly business. In fact, on a car that was practically advertised by the factory as a blank canvas for modifications, this 'beeper is shockingly stock inside and out. The freshly built 440 cubic inch big block delivers the kind of creamy-smooth torque that only lots of displacement can offer. It's based on a stock 440 block that's been filled with 10. 7:1 compression keith black pistons, mopar six pack rods, stainless fads, comp cams camshaft, and roller rockers up top. Intake duties come from an edelbrock ram intake with a holley double-pumper carb and it's lit up with an msd spark box. The rugged 4-speed manual tran.

Up for sale is a solid 1970 plymouth barracuda with the shaker hood and a 440 big block. Exterior: it is a factory sublime green car as evidenced by the fj5 on the fender tag. It has some sub-par body work that has been done in some places but it's not completely beat up. The shaker hood assembly is complete. The glass is all in good shape and only has some light scuffs here and there. The trim is all in decent shape and just has some light scratches and dings. The front and rear bumpers are painted steel and in decent shape. They are not bent up anywhere. The 15" ralley wheels are all in good shape and have nice bfgoodrich tires front and rear. The grille is in good shape and not broken, but the outer bezel on the right side does have a small piece broken off the corner. The car is pretty solid underneath and even has a lot of the original undercoating on the floor pans, frame rails, trunk pan, etc. There are a couple very small holes in the floor pan on the passenger side but it is very solid underneath overall. It looks like it would be a pretty easy fix and the panel would not require replacing. Interior: the front seat covers are new and in really nice shape. The rear seat cover has a tear in the upper seat cover on the driver's side and a small tear on the lower seat cover on the passenger side. The carpet looks newer and is in good shape. The dash pad is in good shape. The door panels look to be in decent shape as well. The headliner is a little loose. The steering wheel is in good shape and not broken or cracked up. Drivetrain: the engine is a strong running 440 big block with an edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. There is a nice set of fabricated aluminum valve covers bolted on that bring a little shine into the engine bay. The ceramic coated long tube headers run back to a "pypes" x-pipe and "pypes" dual stainless steel mufflers with the correct tips out the back. The transmission is a 727 automatic. It also has a newer aluminum radiator to keep the big block cool. Suspension: the car has manual drum brakes front and rear but the car stops well. The power steering feels good and tight.

1965 Plymouth Belvedere - Lithia Springs, GAStreetside ClassicsLithia Springs, GA 30122Ph: 8773671835Web: www. With a 408 stroker motor, cool stance, great paint, and an updated interior, it preserves the essence of Mopar's cool '60s vibe while injecting it with a massive dose of 21st century performance. The result is intoxicating. The two-tone black and white color combination is timeless. We love the way it accentuates the cantilever roof treatment and the long strip of trim down the side makes this Belvedere look a mile long. Finish quality is quite good, with sharp gaps, nice bodywork, and an OEM look that will make everyone do a double-take when they hear it run. A few swirls are inevitable in the black paint, but a good coat of wax should eliminate most of them, and we love the simple, no-nonsense look of the Belvedere. All the factory trim remains in place, there are no hood scoops, stripes, or wings, just one of Chrysler's better designs that wasn't too weird nor was it too anonymous. This is a low-profile car that gets a ton of attention. The interior keeps it fairly stock, starting with factory bench seats that make this cruiser old-school comfortable. There's an AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo in the center, right where it's always been, and a trick B&M shifter on the transmission tunnel, so it has a racy feel from the driver's seat. Fresh carpets and door panels add to the finished look and like the exterior, everyone is going to look a little closer when they notice the subtle upgrades. Even the trunk is properly finished with a reproduction plaid mat that fits well. The engine is a 408 cubic inch V8 that's based on a 360 block. An aluminum radiator, serpentine belt drive system, and modern power brakes and power steering make it act like a modern car, so it's never fussy. A GM 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission handles the shifts and allows it to cruise at a relaxed pace on the highway. AM/FM✔ CD Player

1970 plymouth barracuda - lithia springs, gastreetside classicslithia springs, ga 30122ph: 8773671835web: www. They continue to accelerate in value, and even small block cars like this 1970 340 'cuda are gaining value by leaps and bounds as the big block cars soar past six figures. With a classic high-performance look, sinister black paint, a 4-speed, and sparkling performance from a stout small block, this is one muscle car that truly delivers on the promises made by its awesome good looks. There's a good argument to be made that this is the best-looking pony car ever made. This handsome black 'cuda appears to be wearing all its factory-original sheetmetal, which in and of itself is a rather rare find. I, for one, am a fan of small block cars because of their superior handling and friendly road manners, and the look is identical from a distance. The bodywork is very nicely done with that black paint looking just about right for a car that's been driven and should be driven a lot more. From any angle, this car is ultra-clean 'cuda looks fast just sitting still. The black interior is another place where taking their time scored the mopar guys serious advantages. The gauges offer bright, crisp markings and look fantastic in their individual round pods (the temperature gauge doesn't work, but there's an aftermarket unit under the dash), and the woodgrained wheel is a nice find, too. The seats, carpets, door panels, and dash pad have all been replaced or restored in the not-too-distant past and remain in very good condition thanks to careful ownership over the past few years the trunk is correctly outfitted with a reproduction mat plus a vintage spare tire and original air cleaner assembly. The engine is a great-running 340 cubic inch v8 linked to a 4-speed manual transmission. We don't know if it's the original engine, but with a rebuild to stock specs save for an edelbrock carburetor, it has a surprising amount of power for a small block. No doubt, this car will be a handful for anything this side of a hemi on the street. It's very correctly detailed with hemi orange paint on the eng. AM/FM
